Again The Witcher, this time I did all clothes setups and simulations.
Coats, horses harnesses and hood.
Looks easy, done with struggle.
Demolition, devastation, destruction, dismemberment!
Controversial and unusual promotion of fight with cancer.
My tasks was: destruction of walls, floor, and make a nice mess with rigid bodies.
For me that was the biggest project by far. Over 20 minutes of animation and a hard deadline ;>
I was responsible for team coordination, making all clothes setups, and simulating most of the shots.
There were over 1000 cloth simulation in full version of animation, and I’m very proud of cBatch tool.
cBatch turned out necessary on shared data between 3 people, and simulate on 10 simnodes.
This was a real test of simulating in a team and developing new functionality for cBatch.
Last month I worked on cloth simulation for very interesting animation.
I did setups for main characters and Canon’s belt :]
It is combination of live action and 3D animation with interesting stylization.

Witcher is done. That was demanding project.
Over 220 simulations in 3 minutes of animation.
I was responsible for clothes setups: archer, mag, king, clowns, knights and pugilists.
Setup of the assassin was prepared by Łukasz Sobisz.
I did 99% of cloth simulations.
In the meanwhile i did simulation of fluid in the phial :]

It is a very nice feeling to be a part of the team which is doing animations like this.
I did simulation of the material around springs, and foam mattress.
I did cloth simulation for nice animation.
